exhaust valve maintained open mechanically help

Hello

I read on some of the threads that it is possible to open the exhaust valve and keeping it open mechanically. Either by disconnecting the electrical line to it when the valve is open or by removing the metal spring linking the valve motor and the valve it self.

However does anyone here have experience with this?
If so, does it work. And which of the methods would be recommended?
Does anyone have any videos or pictures of how to do it?
Might there be another way for getting it open?

Note: I'm not interested in coding, which is why I am asking for a mechanical solution.
My car is a leased 2021 330e M sport, located in Denmark.

Cheers in advance.

I recently did this because my cars was stuck shut, just go under it and wait for it to be open once you confirm it’s open just unplug the wire and tape the ends with electrical to be safe and then I just zip tied it up a bit so it’s not hanging and now it’s stuck open.

is there any failures coming up in the car, when doing that?

Does anybody have any experience doing this on the 330e?

I think post#7 of the attached thread says go to sport+ and allow valve to open, then unplug the connector.

Since the flap motor no longer has power, the valve will remain in open position even when car is stationary/engine switched off.

The 330e doesn't have sport +, but extra boost instead. And as I understand from some of the threads in here, it's been quite difficult for some to get the valve to open.

So I'm just wondering if anyone with experience on the 330e have found a way to do this?
