'22 330i order. Being told 6-8 weeks tops, this correct?
Just seems pretty decent with all the issues in the supply industry. I was told as long as I don't want a few items that are on constraint, which I am passing on, 6-8 weeks tops should be the timeframe?
I'm in the USA, Florida if that matters. Last edited by 2022_330i; 08-16-2021 at 03:27 PM.. |

After reading through many of the threads on this page, it seems 6-8 weeks is a best case for a car built in Mexico. Be prepared for an agonizing wait with unexpected delays, supply chain issues, and your car seemingly stalled at various stages of the process for days on end for no good reason. On the plus side, you'll have plenty of time to get yourself up to speed on the installation procedures for the receiver audio module and each port the Glovis Cardinal docked at over the last three years.
I'm currently on day 40 since my "Ordered Received" date. My car has been "Ready for transport" for about 10 days. My best case would get the car to the dealership in about two weeks which would make it 8 weeks total. |

i know this is an old thread, but I thought I would update for those that find this in October of 2021. I ordered a car in the midwest in the last week of August and I am still waiting. The car just arrived in Baltimore last week and is affected by the radio audio module stop sale. That could cause the car to be delayed for a few days to 2+ months. 9 weeks plus any time for the stop sale adds.

Just to throw my two cents in with a recent experience. I am shopping the same car & was quoted 14-16 weeks for PCD. Pricing is at MSRP so I am working with a couple of brokers in SoCal who said they can get 2-3% below MSRP with the same delivery timeframe. Fingers crossed.

My car was ordered in early September, produced on 10/6/2021 and is in transit, way way faster than I would like, so I am in the opposite boat for you all.
I specifically told my CA that I wanted it in December and he said no worries with all the delays that should not be a problem and my car sales through. I realize many of you, would want to be in my position, but it can work both ways. |
