Final Price $43448

Interest rate through BMW was 1.90%

I have also applied for BMW auto club $500 discount, which will should bring it down a bit more.
Which dealer? I am working with Passport BMW but now they're playing the "MSRP only" game.

Shop around. MSRP on a M340 is wild. Probably trying to take advantage of supply constraints

Taking delivery of my m340i in late November this year and things are not looking great deal wise. MSRP and virtually no incentives is pretty ridiculous on a 3 series.

I tried to send you a response to your PM, but said that you can't receive PM's.

Try the BMW dealership about 100 miles south of here.

Try some brokers from leasehacker. Some brokers were offering 8% off for a custom build back in July.

I am working with a broker right now but he says he will work on the deal after it gets here to see if discounts/incentives get better rather than locking the number when placing the order. He really hasn't given me any concrete answer to what kind of deal he can get me once it arrives saying the market is really tough and unpredictable. Which is completely understandable but that leaves me nervous and antsy.

I'm trying to manage my expectations for the deal but MSRP is a no-no.

I scored one of these 8% off deals from a dealer when I ordered in July. I haven't seen anything close since then

That sounds like an odd broker. In my experiences, the deal is basically finalized before you even order your vehicle. The only fluid part of the deal is incentives for the month the car is delivered—if they're better than when you ordered/placed a deposit then you can use them instead. And if they're worse you just keep what you have.

You're a brave soul to order and wait for a car without knowing what you'll be paying!! MSRP is a non-starter for me.

It is a little odd, yes. I've never heard of anybody doing it that way either but I'd figure my broker knows what he's doing and has my best interest. I wasn't aware that incentives aren't locked which is interesting but let's see how things play out.

I got 8% off my built from a Norcal dealer back in July. The car is arriving next week. If you are interested, I can pm you my dealer's information to see if they are willing to do 8% off pre-incentive.

G31 530d to G21 330i?

I have a 2018 530d Touring that I picked up as a pre-reg for £35k GBP. I put £4,250 into the 4 year 8k p/a PCP for a monthly of £313 (yeah, I bought it at the right time!).

Fast forward a few years and it's now done 16k, full history and if I sell it today (for obvious reasons) I have over £8k GBP equity. Truth be told, I really don't want to change it. It's big enough for my family of four, and today I can even get the kids bikes in the boot with ours on top. Comfortable, super economical, big and fast. Everything I need..

BUT! With used prices being so strong right now, I'm tempted to change.. Half considering a 330i G21, and whilst I will miss the space and the economy on longer runs, alot of my journeys are super short (I WFH 100%).

So.... Cash in, but a towbar on it and buy a roof box, or keep what is the perfect car for me? My deal is up in Dec 22 and I can't help but think if I can find something it could make sense.. Thoughts, and thanks!

You guys are funny comparing July deals to 3 months later 2021. It's all getting worse. Good luck out there.

It is and it's not. In July when I did my search there was less than 30 M340i within 500 miles of my city, now there are more than 60.

Could be better supply, could be a drop in demand. The market is so darn fuzzy right now.

I have found the Edmunds forum to be the best source for lease information. You can post your zip code and what mileage you are looking for and they will give you that MF, RV and any available incentives in your region.

Something tells me all car manufacturers will try and keep this going as long as they can while increasing supply.

I'm curious to see what December brings us. Isn't it usually the best month for rates and incentives? But who know with the way things are right now
