Latest G20 / G21 3-Series LCI facelift refresh info

Assuming it'll have the same dash as the i4. I'm really going to miss the 1-8 shortcut buttons.

Also for those of us who thought we'd escape this new screen setup by getting a G42 next year. We're out of luck since it too will get this setup next year. I guess there's more serious things in life to worry about since we have no control over this change.

I think the G87 is getting this too. Maybe the G80/G82 as well. I wonder if it will be slightly different to make it look more like a sports car interior.

They will implement the same in the M cars because they will not redesign the dash. This thing screams cost cutting the way it's implemented.

Consider how much the IX cost and even there it's the same cost cutting implementation. You'd think since the IX interior is unique they'd at least build the dash around it. Speaking of IX, online pre-order shows "sold out". Guess, BMW sure knows their audience lol.

I'm glad the iX is sold out. I want BMW to succeed and stay independent. So yeah I guess they know their audience. But man that screen with a kickstand on the dash.. Just can't see it in an M. Good reason not to wait for the the G20 or G80 LCI.
