Just an update, as I started this thread.
Car arrived at port yesterday, VPC today awaiting RAM installation. It’s at the Brunswick VPC. I’ll keep you all posted. I pray it’s quick. I’ve seen anywhere from 3 or 4 days to 2 months. I think the average recently is about 10 days, but that’s a guesstimate based off what I’m reading on threads. |

Update!
Car arrived at port in Brusnswick GA Thursday night 10/21 at 7 PM. As strange as it seems my SA just called me and told me he has an ETA for the car arriving at the dealership next Monday 10/25. That's only 4 days later and with the "stop sale" on it because of that RAM. I almost shit my pants. I was expecting a much longer wait. I don't know how this is possible but I guess it is. I thought most cars arriving in Brunswick GA didn't have the RAM and a work order has to be issued and then do each car one by one. Not sure how many cars without the audio module are arriving at the VDC but I'm sure it's quite a few. I was expecting a delay of at least another week or two to get all cars done assuming they even had the part. If it all goes well maybe I'll have the car by next Wednesday then it's picture time..... I will keep you all updated.... |

Yeah mine was on the Hawaiian Highway too. That's why I'm a bit surprised about the ETA. How do they fix that RAM issue so quickly.

I called genius to confirm what the dealer had told me but they said car is being put on a truck sometime today but they have an ETA of Thursday this week. Dealer had it arriving today but I guess he was wrong. 3 more days. Oh well...

I just called the Genius line hoping to get some similar information and the voice recording told me that “this department is currently in a meeting.” So glad I’m near the end of this process. Sheesh!!!

Damn, I guess I am lucky. I think the timing helped me. My friend who's a SA at a BMW dealer called me just before the car went into production on a build from the dealer. All I had time to do is change the color and interior and while I was deciding on other options it went into production the following day........

I hope I've managed to attach this pic...couldn't do it from my phone for some reason...anyway good thing I don't work in tech!!! Hope this pic posts, if not I'll try again.
All I can say is that it's more than worth the wait. I waited 11 weeks...and it's more than worth it!!! |

Can see the pic. Congratulations.
It’s beautiful. Love the shadowline trim on that color. Love those wheels. Red calipers compliment it all. Any unexpected deletions? |
