Hi,

I have a 2020 M340, as well as an Android phone, a Samsung S21+

My car was on software version 03/2021.40. I followed all of the instructions, but, for the life of me, I could never get the application "function" for my phone to work on iDrive &, therefore, every time I said Alexa, I got the scream telling me to complete set up

Took my car into dealer to apply recall 21V598. In so doing, dealer updated software to 07/2021.40. After that I diligently went through Alexa set up and, Sacre Bleu, Alexa worked! ..... BUT elation was short-lived because then Android Auto stopped working. As best I can tell, ,both apps must use WiFi access to Internet (car has hotspot & phone auto-connects).

Has anyone else had this problem & worked it out? If so, would you be kind enough to share how, please

I have also noticed this. I can't seem to get both Android Auto and Alexa working at the same time, seems to be either/or...
