Muffler delete or Cat less down pipe
Hi All,
Just got a 2020 M340i and was wondering what is better for sound, pops, burbles, ect. Should I just do a muffler delete, but take away the valve that switches between modes or just replace the downpipe with a cat less one? |

Matter of your taste in sound. Look up videos on each. I went the muffler delete route with valve delete too and it sounds amazing but everything has its pros and cons.

Stock muffler and catless downpipe if you're not planning on doing a full exhaust - at least you'll get a little performance gain with the downpipe. That way you can still be stealth in comfort but still crackle and pop in sport plus!

Can some of you post your updated sounds? I'm in the UK so have to keep the stupid PPF/OPF, but I'm interested to hear what it sounds like with a few changes.

Muffler delete
CG-Precision DS1 Catted DP through stock muffler (this is my car) – but keep in mind it is also a 2020 with the original more aggressive exhaust note and a Mission Performance stage 2 tune |
