Had a local shop here in Las Vegas called Eurotek tuning install my exhaust today.
Pretty well known, they’ve installed other awe exhausts in the past.
They had a really difficult time installing my touring non resonated exhaust system on my 2020 g20 m340.
After paying for the install I left with the exhaust looking like this.
The tips aren’t even on cause they said they didn’t fit.

Damn. That looks like $&@%. A good place would have been able to modify it to fit. That looks like they were just sloppy and lazy. You should get your money back.

I recommend you ask your vendor to create a warranty claim with AWE. If it's a problem with the exhaust, they'll fix it, or they'll help your shop install it correctly.

Not the first time I hear Eurotek having issues with BMW parts installs


The last time we sent them a customer to install a JB4 on his car, they told him that they don't install JB4s and talked really badly of it. They had him return the JB4 to us and buy another tune from them. Turns out they are a BMS dealer, sell and install Jb4 all day. They were just making a sale

nup they really fucked up this job imo, but do ask for a warranty check...

I have the same model year and the shop in aus and I was the guinea pig customer since it was their first AWE install for an m340i (took them twice as long than they billed!) and it was perfectly fitted...

Where you able to figure out what was wrong with it ?? I have this EXACT same problem on my passenger side. Literally the same , I believe it has to do with a wrong or defective Y pipe for the tips , please let me know how you solved it

Hello Mike ! i got my exhaust from XPH , I sent over a email , it seems I am having the same exact issue and everything was checked more than 4 times , we have tried everything possible and the tips do not like up on the passenger side. Looks exactly like the pictures above , however both the Y pipes fit perfectly in the driver side , which is suspicious because they are suppose to be different , I believe I may have gotten 2 Y pipes for the driver side and never got a passenger side Y pipe

Interesting now ill have to relook at mine. The issue I ran into was the black diamond tips would not clamp down and after emailing AWE i guess they ran into a QC issue and sending a full new set. So i wonder what else is wrong..

Ugh!! Reading this as my AWE is being installed!!

Hey guys ! Good afternoon , no worries I got it fixed ! I wish I could attach pictures but I don’t know how to . The set up looks extremely NICE and the sound is the best sounding exhaust that has to be out there , no video can do justice on this exhaust , extremely happy with it.
