Precondition 330e EU/UK question

Hello

Can anybody tell me if the precondition of the car in a 330e is a standard feature?

Hi

Yes it’s standard via the app or iDrive. Works really well but best when plugged into a wall charger.

Absolutely!
Works well also when not plugged in but will of course lower your range.
I use it all the time during winter and also on hot summer days.
You don't need to run it for very long to get a decent temperature in the car.
I normally start the precondition when I walk from my office to the parking lot, a 5 minute walk and it heats up or cools down enough for me unless it's really cold outside. I wouldn't recommend doing it for a very long time when running on battery though. AC isn't that bad but heat sure uses a lot of battery. Then again, doing it while plugged in does wonders for your usable range.
