Hey guys, I wanted to get some feedback and ideas on what else I can do to my M340xdrive. To my knowledge, there are no OTS Tunes out for the car besides piggy backs like Jb4 (which im currently running - Map 2).

That said on June 1st Im getting a MST Intake, CST Charge Pipes, AA Catted DP, and Vargas Oil Catch Can (I understand this isn't really a performance mod- more reliability long term). For the most part I'm only interested in performance. Aesthetics come last for me.

Not sure what else to do. Im going to be selling my BBS CHR’s with Michelin ps4’s from my previous s4. That will cover my next wheel setup, but besides wheels/tires what else is there to do besides going the port injection, big turbo set up. - not comfortable with that idea yet due to the DME situation.

For optimal power output, your best option would be to send your DME to Femto, followed by acquiring bootmod3. This combination not only maximizes power with your current modifications but also sets you up for a turbo upgrade.

If this is not an option, you don't have many options left for power upgrades.

Consider adjustable springs or coilovers to enhance handling
Also, an exhaust system upgrade to improve the sound.

How is the power and performance with JB4 map 2? I have JB4 getting delivered sometime next week

I forgot to mention I have the M Performance Exhaust on the car already. So, I guess springs once I get the new wheel/tire setup

You can definitely feel a difference. I raced my brother in his 2022 m650i and beat him on a 40 roll with just JB4 on 93. Granted I have the performance exhaust, but idk how much of a difference that makes

I’m running valvetronics. What’s the whole deal with the maps. I don’t want to run the wrong one, I’m on pump 91-93. You think map 1,2 or 3 is best?

Stick with 93 if you can. Map 2 seems to be strong with me on 93. Dont go 91 and map 2. If you’re on 91 stay on map 1.

Cool thing with Jb4 is you can try map 3, log it through the app and send it to the guys at bms. They’ll help you. Ill prob run map3 once the DP is installed.
