Start button and mirror cap replacement

Could anyone point me in the right direction for a 'How to video' for the replacement of the start button and mirror caps on a G22 please?

There's loads of videos of the dash mounted start button replacement but I can't find any for the centre console located button.

Button replacement is very easy. You need something sticky and simply pull it up. My new button was delivered with this sticky stuff. Push the new one in and it's done.

If the G22 mirror caps are the same as G20 here's a video :

I changed mine to a red button. It was very easy, pulled straight out.

Still waiting on mine to arrive and hopeful it doesn't turn out to be one of those with the dodgy letter gapping.

Did you order the colored button or the glass one? Almost all the colored buttons I've seen have the spacing issue. The glass ones seem fine.

I did(coloured) and it doesn't

Can't fit it yet though as Mrs O has it for work so will try and get it done tonight, if not then tomorrow for sure...and fingers crossed it fits as good as it looks

Loads on a certain auction site and unlike the known problem with the majority of the red as mentioned by VipinLJ I have not seen nor heard any issues with the glass/crystal ones at all.

No. This one a bit diaphanous as well if a strong light is placed under it.
