Good effort Xenon. Never taken a wheel off unless it's at the side of a road for a puncture!
I have become alot less fuss now with cleaning. Use BH on the wheels and maybe give them a brush but generally just a jet wash.

I use maguires ceramic spray wax before drying and adds a nice layer of basic protection and beading. Not ceramic in the slightest but works well.

Blue callipers are so last year
Red is the colour of choice now.

On a more serious note, I'm loving your dedication to the cause. Fine work sir.
I use wheel whoolies when cleaning and they seem to reach most places. You need to rotate the wheel 180 degrees when washing but...

That style of wheel would make it much easier.

Great, I'm now looking forward to trying it this weekend!

No. I wished i had the time to do it but i found a fairly flat brush from Halfords that does a decent-ish job of cleaning them

They have never left a single mark at all. The bristles are very light & i use that, or one i bought that is similar to the one in the link, with a Meguiars versa angle.

EZ brushes are best for not scratching black wheels and work well on standard msport alloys.
