I've seen more than a few M5's already and haven't really been impressed aesthetically. Looks like a typical 5 series with a new front bumper, side gills, rear bumper and quad exhausts.

Sure it's great performance wise but with 80+ grand, you can get a better performer.

Of course it's the best performance sedan.

Who in their right mind wants a performance *sedan*? I'm sure Schumacher wouldn't mind - he probably has children he would just love to take 150 mph on the autobanh when doing groceries...

Yeah, I'm serious. Let's all petition to Ferrari and Lamborghini as to why the hell they're not putting out a freaking sedan.

EDIT: Likewise, it's analogous to me being skeptical about the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

I am waiting for that day when a 650 bhp 8-seater minivan with 0-60 in 4.0 sec comes out.

And it will all start at under 20-grand, and get 60 mpg.

It should have i-drive and LCD screens all around for the children to watch their cartoons on as mommy and daddy spend all day squirming through the mountain twisties. Also featured is a toddler seat up front so he/she can see all the racing action going on in this family minivan!

BMW will call it the 9 series, as it will be able to seat 8 plus a small baby from a pop-out toddler seat. The M9 will feature 1,000 bhp. And a second toddler seat. The whole family can have fun racing!

name one sedan at any price that hits sixty in 4.1 sec and handles like a 2 seat sports car.
