In BimmerLink the Sensorvalue "Damper setpoint" and Actual damper values can be monitored. I watched both change between 10 and 73.5 degrees while standing still and switching between comfort and sport (M440 with option 2VF).
This could be something to check for you that doesn't notice a difference.

Excellent! I will buy it. Can you show me a screenshot of that particular screen so I know what to look for?

Installed it and checked the parameter. NO CHANGE!! I'm in drive (not moving) and switching between Sport plus, adaptive, comfort... always shows 9.5 deg

My car has S2VF. M adaptive Suspension.

Seems like bad news. Should I bring this up with the dealer. Car has 8500 miles. I've always suspected the dampening is not doing anything and car seems always tight and rough.

I'd be interested in what your dealer says. I too have not felt a difference between sport and comfort but have no quantifiable way to show this to them.

Do you have adaptive M sport? Have the adaptive button on your console?

just tried it
sport- heavy steering, stiffer suspension
comfort - lighter steering, STIFF suspension
comfort plus - even lighter steering, bouncy suspension

didn't check out throttle but it feels lazier

Do you have adaptive M suspension? It's an option an quite a rare one from what I've gathered.

i want to code sport plus suspension because it leans too much in the corners even with sport. it's a very heavy car!

I started a thread awhile back on coding Sport plus suspension on my M340.

Was told it can’t be done.
Hardware on the G20 won’t work with a sport plus setting.

Disappointed, since sport suspension is good,
but wanted an even stiffer version.

You know something we don’t know yet?

no, no luck.

but i do want to code comfort individual.

i turned on comfort individual on the expert mode and now the comfort button cycles through 3 programs - comfort, comfort plus, and blank

i i'd like to code comfort individual somehow!

when you guys press the comfort button, does it cycle through a blank program on the instrument cluster (where it says comfort, sport, etc)

No, sorry.

But if you ever figure this out please share. I'm desperate for a comfort individual coding!

Garage List
Has someone already tried the Alpina Flash for the real Comfort Plus?
I know the process but two parts are missing.
What Typeschlussel do i need to choose for an G21 PreLCI build in 05.2022?
What is the correct ECU to flash?

This coding is only done in the BDC and MGU but there should be a dedicated ECU for the adaptive suspension.

worked in 2022 G20 330i

Greetings from Australia,
Thank you so much guys for your advise. I can also confirm the coding worked in 2022 G20 330i. I used bimmercode with OBDLink CX but had to search for the coding name in the expert mode. Took some time to figure them out but all worked. Once again thanks.

Yeap works in 2021 G20 330i. I have been driving with Comfort Plus with gear shift to S for a week. Like it! Put the gear to S to make the throttle and the gear change to be more responsive.

Just what @g21 mentioned:
sport- heavy steering, stiffer suspension
comfort - lighter steering, STIFF suspension
comfort plus - even lighter steering, bouncy suspension
