Hi everyone - picked my new G20 up tonight and have just plugged it in. The 3 pin charging cable had a rectangular thing Connected to it which says charging, faulty, etc

Is it safe to leave that bit of the cable outside?! I was surprised to see it!

I've left mine outside a few nights at a time for a year. It's fine. I do tuck it under the back wheel to try to keep some of the weather off it but I realise that won't make much of a difference.
I cleaned mine up the other day ant it still looks like new.

I havent seen the G20 version as yet, but the last version was not IP rated, but did look weather proof.

When i did use mine outside i tried to cover it if i though rain was likely
