Yes sir. That’s why I posted my firmware version in case someone thinks it’s because they have an old version. Mine is older

In my 330i this sound configuration seems to modify both the ASD and the exhaust valve.

Example: in comfort driving mode if I select "sporty" in the engine sound menu, I can hear ASD clearly. You can also hear the exhaust flap open, has a very distinct click.

That might be the case then. Because g20beam has his ASD coded off but his exhaust valves work normally and it makes a difference for him. In my car, my ASD hasn’t been coded off but my exhaust valve is always open via a JB4 setting and it makes a difference in my car too.
So I assume it affects both.

Like someone else previously mentioned, it controls both ASD and flaps.

Does it stick for you guys who coded it with esys? With the bimmercode method, it resets everytime the car is turned off.

Ahh. So there's probably one line of code that is missing. I wonder how it is for the X3 guys.

I have ASD disabled from the factory but I do have an exhaust flap, I coded these options last night and was able to view / select, but they had no impact on the exhaust valve.

The only sure fire way of opening it constantly since I was upgraded to 03/2020.58 (which made the valve only open during motion and no longer at idle) is to manually open it in Bimmerlink.

Coded "sport+" for my 320i (no valve in the exhaust) sounds better than in "sport" but not that much burbles as I heard at earlier 320/330 cars.
Any experience to improve sound for a car without valve in the exhaust?

When was your 320i built? I thought, that all 320i do have the valve.

Mine (UK) was 09/19 and there is no valve fitted or ASD.

I believe all after around July 2019 no longer thad these, all to do with new EU regs.

I guess the only way to have a good sound and burbles for 320i, not only when in Parking mode but also while driving would be an aftermarket exhaust replacement.

Hmmm i seem to be in the minority I coded this a few days ago and mine stays on sporty never resets to depending on mode, UK 330i Msport tried different settings at stand still and deffinatley activates the valve as you can hear it actuating the motor of valve.

I do still have ASD enabled coded couple other things at same time as well msport logo in speedo cluster & M style font.

The M-Sport logo, did you add just that or did you have to update the whole cluster to the M one? I'm confused with these settings, the logo and font.... are they standalone?
