BIK for pre-April 330e confirmed at 8%
Folks,
There was some debate a few months ago about the correct BIK % for the 330e. At least pre-April models which were measured under the "old" scheme. Just to confirm that after a lot of wrangling with Arval they have confirmed my 330e M Sport (with Plus Pack) is 8%. I had to get the certificate of conformance from BMW, it indicated that my official electric range was 39.5 miles. UK tax rules say you must round up (i.e. to 40 miles) which puts me in the 8% bracket. Considering that I'd have been on 12% if I'd not "complained", a good result. Really disappointed with Arval though that they couldn't work this out for themselves. I've still got work colleagues paying 12% as they would only change it on a case by case basis. Very poor... :-( Last edited by tricky6; 09-14-2020 at 03:18 PM.. |

I had no help or advice from the Leasing company. Once you have the certificate from BMW AG you are home and dry. |

I think I was just fortunate with Ogilvie Feet and our HR team as mine was set at 8% from April onwards. |

Engine type Other (including petrol and hybrid)
CO2 emissions 36g CO2/km Zero emission mileage 37 miles Engine size 1,401cc to 2,000cc This is what is listed on my portal on HMRC. I'll contact them and try and get it corrected to 39.5! |

I've just checked my HMRC portal and it states my zero emission mileage is 41 miles so I presume I must already be on 8% as it was registered November 2019?
I had the same car previously registered September 2019 but it was written off in an accident and on the same portal it states 50miles for this one despite being the exact same model! I cant find any way of showing what percentage I am paying though? |

Not sure if you can find out the exact percentage, only the amounts extra you will be taxed on so you can work out it with those (a bit tricky to get your head round mind) |
