Outcome
Hi, just wanted to post an update. BM have given me an different car. The one with the paint issues is apparently going back to the factory to be corrected (not my problem now). I collect the "new/replacement" car tomorrow. It's not the colour I originally wanted but after seeing it in the flesh I quite like it (Tanzanite Blue).
Also for the inconvenience they are throwing in, full tank of fuel and 2 free services as well as tinting the back windows (shadow pack). TBH despite the initial problems this is a more than I expected. The help, communication & customers service has been excellent. Just glad it's sorted. Looking forward to enjoying the car now 🙂 |

Great result! Good dealer. Name and praise?
However, a professional paint correction detailer will be able to fix it as long as you cannot feel the scratch under your finger. If its rough, it needs paint. I've never had a car the dealer didn't swirl to hell, always take it right from collection to someone who knows what they are doing! |

good result, but it won't be going back to BMW - it will be outsourced to the cheapest possible bodyshop and sadly it will become the next owners problem!
Deffo did the right thing by not progressing any further with that car! Enjoy its replacement! |
