330e - iDrive Colours Not Matching Drive Mode

My car was updated at the dealer to 03.2020 (I think) and since then the IDrive colours in the centre display and the instrument display don't change, don't match each other, and don't match the drive mode.
So for example:
Mode is Hybrid, centre screen is red, instruments are blue non-sport mode.
Mode is XtraBoost, centre is red, instruments are blue non-sport mode.
The HUD changes modes correctly but the colours are wrong.
I'm going to book it back in to have it looked at. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen something similar?

First, thank you for posting that, I was sure I'd seen that option but I couldn't find it. I thought I was going mad!
Trouble is, I don't have that option! My Displays menu shows:
Head-up display
Instrument cluster
Control display

and that's it. I've been through all those menus again in case I've missed it but unless it's got a different name, it's not there*.

*I accept that I might still be being dense and that I keep missing it.

Dis you try to reboot your iDrive system by holding the volume button for about 30 seconds (engine needs to run). This mostly resolve those kind of glitches.

I have tried the old switch-it-off-and-on-again but it didn't make any difference. I'll try it again though.

Tried it again. No difference. I'm going to get it checked, if the dealer ever answers the phone...

Long press the volume button till the idrive unit restarts. See if that helps before you take it in?

Thanks, yeah, that's what I did.
BMW said to ask one of the Geniuses but have booked it in anyway for next Tuesday because they've never heard of the problem before.
Last time it got updated it kept failing to update and took two days to complete.
I'll report back what happens in case anyone else ever gets the problem.

It's fixed. The service manager said that the car said it needed a reset, they did that and it worked.
When I got there initially to drop the car off he tried to tell me maybe this was how it was supposed to be now... Uh, no.
I'm not entirely convinced; I can believe the first updated wasn't fully completed.
The end result is that the driver profiles were removed, the seat memory was wiped, and several options, such as Drive Recorder, had to be setup again. And the option shown above in the settings still isn't back. I'm okay with all that. Setting-up the car and signing-in the profiles again is no big deal. I never used the option in the menu anyway, I want the colours to switch.
One more thing, not a big deal for me but all the music was erased from the car's hard drive.
