It's about to be the 18th and the boat is still in Baltimore. That bot is probably not arriving until the 21st -22nd, and by the time it goes thru the VPC and gets to the dealer it's most likely going to be a October delivery

Granted, it was ~3 weeks ago now, but my dad's german build M340i was only like 4 days from boat docking to arrival at Dealership. No port installed accessories, though.

How do you know if you have a port install option? I'm hoping to do an October delivery without having to tell my guy I won't be part of his September deals.

Ah. Mostly M performance items. M performance exhaust, spoiler, side skirts, etc. If you only spec'd items from the website build configurator then you don't have any port installed options.

I've been going back and forth with a sales advisor on a custom order M340i with a MSRP of around $58k. He's latest offer is to combine financing incentives and my PenFed incentive to give me $6k off MSRP.
Is this generally a good price for a custom order? Anything I should watch out for here (additional fees, etc. tacked on) or ask for additionally? I am in Texas. |

General consensus, when inventory is good, is to shoot for 10% off MSRP *before* incentives. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Both I and the dealership are in Austin. This is the 2nd dealership I've checked in with and first was only willing to go about $3.5k off MSRP. If I could get out the door at $51k on a $58k MSRP I would be happy. Currently at $52k plus I'm not sure if they will try and tack any add'l fees on to the quoted $6k off MSRP.
