Does the Spotify app on the G20 use your phones data of the cars sim etc?

I don’t know as I always use mine from my phone via Carplay. I suppose you could find out by going out for a run without your phone and trying to fire up the in-car Spotify and see what happens.

Cars sim.... it works fine without my phone in the car.

You need a Spotify Premium account and as already mentioned uses the car's sim. Its integration with the voice assistant is excellent and it's why I use it over car play.

I subscribe as it also allows you to stream music at 320 kbit/s.

OK thanks I already have a family subscription so sounds like it will work for me, assuming my 330e passes the current recall!
