Mine doesn't have it (just checked my VIN), though I recall seeing forum posts rumoring BMW was going to issue/issued an update to dealers this summer, and I just picked up my vehicle yesterday (so it may have been updated previous to me picking it up).

Do you have any idea what's the update for?? Like obviously the software but I wonder if it'll fix the bugs

I don't, sorry. Since you have the recall on your vehicle, you could probably best educate us on what it's being recalled for when you contact your dealer to setup the service center appointment.

I hope that is true. I hope it is going to do the same with the 340. I'm taking in mine for service for a few things.

I did some digging around last night. I got conflicting information from the BMW sites. One says theirs a recall on mine and when I enter my VIN it says that I don't have recalls. I will ask my service tech next week.

I dropped off my car at BMW for the "Recall" this last Friday and the SA mentioned that it was related to the iDrive 7 software update.

I took my 330i in for the "12 86 19RC PROGRAMMING CONTROL UNITS DME" recall. The car is now running on 03.2019.60 software. Noticed no discernible change in regular driving. Yet to test the BMW claimed (saw it in the release notes for 03.2019.48 software, which i skipped) faster acceleration from standstill with the advanced cruise control.

Where are the patch notes?? Mines in for the recall now. I asked my SA he said it looks like just a software flash as in it really won't change anything,

Ok... don't know if my expectations are high today or it's just an off day for me but after this "environmental recall" I noticed my car is significantly quieter in sport and it feels weaker..??? Anyone else have this recall done

The release notes no longer refer to the 03.2019.48 version like it did a month ago but it should still apply as they now refer to the 03-2019 version - https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.de/ap...oftwareUpgrade

Does it still seem quieter and weaker?? I was notified today of this recall. Mine is also due to Environment Canada.
