I have had similar hick ups like this in the past and BMW always stepped up.

Swapping the trim should be no big deal and they might even let you keep the old trim.

I think you got it great.

I got the wrong wheel size and tires. I ordered high performance tire/cooling pack but instead i got 225 square setup all season...

When I contacted my center they told me that "they probably ran out of stock for the pack" and they told me I would have to buy it externally..... ridiculous

The extended shadow line parts were not available to order in the US for the 2020 models, only in Canada. Because so many customers in the US wanted the black parts (grill, lower grill inserts, mirror caps, and exhaust finishers) the dealers started sourcing them and installing once the car arrived at the dealership. 2021 you could order the extended shadow line package.

Oh I see. I realized after the fact that this particular thread was dated so it makes sense now. That must have been a real fiasco for people in the US with 2020 models wanting that part. Glad that has all been resolved now.

You should probably confirm your car actually got built with that pack?
Did your VIR confirm it?
Did it show on the bmwusa tool after you got your production number?
And most importantly does your sticker reflect that package?

If the package is on your sticker then you are literally owed the correct wheels/tires it would be an easy warranty claim for the dealer. Also that package contains larger brakes and an extra cooler underneath the front end.

This sounds like the dealer did not put your order in correctly and is hiding it from you.

He actually said in a separate post that it wasn't illustrated on the sticker even though he claimed it was included on his order sheet. Somehow they deleted it seems and if IIRC, they claimed it was due to part shortages?

Not sure why they gave you a hard time about trim. Those pieces are literally snapped out with a set of plastic pry bars and snapped back in. Probably much easier than swapping the grills. They just wanted to see if you would be "content" with the trims it came with. Kind of sorry at this price point of a car.
