G20 LCI wish list
After initially souring on the car, it's been growing on me and the appreciation has been creeping back up slowly. Here's a wish list for me that *may* push me to get back into another G20 lease after the LCI comes out:
1) STANDARD LED headlights that will earn a Good rating from IIHS for both low beam and high beam without having to get any separate package. Not a lot to ask at this price point. 2) Wider, lower profile, Ultra high performance A/S tires as standard equipment- Maybe a 235/40/18 would be a good compromise ( P Zero a/s, pilot sport a/s etc.) Car changed completely when i changed out the horrific Pirelli P7 run flats. 225 standard width is laughable and looks silly. Why bother improving the stock chassis so much and then handicapping it with Pirelli p7 runflats?? 3) Quicker steering ratio for a proper sports sedan. (13.1:1 or better) Eg. G70, Giulia, etc. We cant change the massive size of this car but a quicker ratio will greatly HELP masking the size and making it feel much more agile/nimble. And Finally... 4) Somehow make the steering a bit more communicative and less numb feeling. (Not happening- )

Hopefully no changes for the LCI...I don't want to have to consider trading in my "old stock" lol

1. Analogue gauge cluster (wishful thinking!)
2. Thinner steering wheel - current is way too thick 3. More communicative steering 4. Lowered - to close the gaps in the wheel arches |

Completely agree with the ventilated seats and the thinner steering wheel. Maybe make it a bit smaller too-diameter wise. A flat bottom wheel would be nice but prob asking too much.

Ventilated Seats
Merino Leather option for the US Panoramic Sunroof Power Adjustable Steering Wheel Wider Tires With our luck none of these will be implemented and instead we'll be stuck with a G22 grill on the G20 LCI.

Probably right- most of these wish list items are the same from the F30 era. If they were going to do it, they would have with the introduction of the G20.

These only exist in marketing terms, it's basically an oxymoron otherwise. A Pilot Sport A/S can't hold a candle to a P4S. If you want better grip, you should not be getting run-flat nor all-season, get a dedicated set of summer (and winter if needed) tires.

Wishlist (not that I have much hope!)
- Customizable steering feel (it's a programmed electric rack, give us a full fat unfiltered steering mode as an option!) - Analog gauge option (pretty please with cherries on top!!) - More gauge cluster customization (let us tweak what is in Reduced mode for starters) - ASD on/off switch in iDrive.

I don't have one (maybe waiting to the LCI to replace my F30) but based on my test drives:
1. New/more customizable instrument cluster, with different views depending on the driving mode. 2. Selected gear displayed in the HUD when in sport/sport+ modes. 3. OPF filters in Europe: find a way to improve cabin engine sound. 4. Add blinker light so that it can be seen on the side mirrors from the drivers position (small detail but I like that in my F30). 5. Improve the feel of the i-drive central console buttons (menu/nav/media/etc). |

From my experience with M340i loaner and many test drives.
- Retain Similar Styling (Leave the G22/23 as the ugly sibling) - Nicer Interior Materials (US gets screwed out of Merino Leather on Seats, Dash and Door Tops) - Panoramic Roof - Soft Knee Rest (similar to 2er) - More Gauge Cluster Customization - New Seat Design + Ventilated Seats (Can't get comfy in G20/G01 Seats) - And the Usual, Better Steering Feel (10 Years Later and the Improvements aren't Nearly Enough)
