Stock 18 rims - Tire recommendation

Have stock 18 rims on my m340i x drive. I believe there 18*7.5 (not 100% sure about width)

Going to get rid of the trash run flats.
What's better tire size (plus what will fit)

235 all around
or
225 in front and 255 in rear. Can I even run this?

My 2020 RWD M340i came with 225/255 staggered 18 inch setup. I still run it and i purchased a set of non-rft michelin PSS star tires recently last month. They feel good and better than the stock RFT PS4S but i think theres just a little more road noise surprisingly.
Im not sure what setup your x-drive can run.

Do you know if your F&B rims are different sizes?

You should easily determine staggered setup if the rear wheels are 1" wider (measure inside between the spokes). The rear tires would then be 255mm as opposed to 225 in the front.

BMW has added PS4 18" non-RFT models on their list of recommended combinations for staggered setup. I will look into these for my replacement next season:

Front 18" 225/45 R 18 95 Y XL STD Bridgestone https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/qr/381541
Front 18" 225/45 R 18 95 Y XL STD Michelin https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/qr/445666
Front 18" 225/45 R 18 95 Y XL STD Pirelli https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/qr/595504
Rear 18" 255/40 R 18 99 Y XL STD Bridgestone https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/qr/382669

Doesn't say how wide the rim is. Isn't the F & R rims difference widths? And is that only for RWD? Does X drive have same width all around?

I have 848M staggered from factory on my M440i G22 xDrive
Front: 18x7.5 225/45-18
Rear: 18x8.5 255/40-18
I believe M340i staggered is the same. (G26 has different dimensions)

The list of non-RFT for G20 (below) has not been complemented with the PS4. But other tire models are the same, so I don't see why it shouldn't be valid:
Front 18" 225/45 R 18 95 Y XL STD Bridgestone https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/qr/381541
Front 18" 225/45 R 18 95 Y XL STD Pirelli https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/qr/595504

I'm going to have to pull rear tire and check rim size.

Ok, all my rims are 7.5 F and R.
So won’t be able to run 255 in back.

I was thinking to run 235 all around. Or should I just leave 225’s
