+1 to Mike and X-PH. Made ordering easy at great prices, and customer service was 11/10.

I ordered pretty much every bolt-on from them and by far was best prices available.

No problem Mike... I do want to make a public update since my last post... I think I sent you a message last minute asking if I can change my order to a red chargepipe. I didn't have much faith because it was so last minute... but not even a hour ago it showed up at my door. Thanks for giving me the fun project this weekend! Looking forward to purchasing the MST intake next!

PS: any b48 catless downpipe's coming to x-ph sometime soon?

Thanks again for everything!

The best intake is the stock intake

Spend your money somewhere else if you're looking for power. Intakes don't make power, at least not enough to justify the cost. The B48 more or less shares plumbing with the B58 which has 50% greater displacement, the intake is not an obstruction in any way.

If you're looking for induction sound then to each his own. There's no "best" when it comes to sound, just what is best for you.

Agreed, but the sound alone was worth it for me haha

This was the thinking that led me to installing the BMS silicone tube and drop in AFE filter in my B46. Cheapest way to change the sound of the intake.

Yes, Narek was able to put a MST intake on his 2023 330e with a little modification to the heat shield for an extra hose:

I saw some asks about if Dinan had one. Yes they do and it fits the 330e for the member who asked as well. I had mine installed about a month ago and their turbo inlet pipe as well and let me say it is worth the investment in my opinion. Also, the Dinan option is carbon fiber and it goes for less than $500.

With my E85 tune, I've tried the (faux) Arma , MST and FTP and I liked the FTP intake (with high flow cone filter) because it provides great 3000RPM + gain, without comprimising responsiveness at low RPM (2000RPM) cruising. This is likely due to its smaller caliber throughout (but wider than stock at the turbo inlet) .The (faux) ARMA has a huge upper portion of piping, and gave the least overall improvement. The MST had the best 3k RPM+ improvement in response but felt only marginally better than the FTP. The MST compromised low RPM (2kRPM) cruising response and coming off the line. The MST and ARMA sound the best.

Arma (Faux brand) - Notice the huge upper portion. It's about as wide as my leg. Although the width makes it non-restrictive, it's not ideal design for air velocity.

FTP intake, "hot intake" setup with MST cone filter. I've driven hard in ~90F+ degrees, and it does not heat soak as I expected. No loss in low end response, and my tune feels just about as responsive at high end, as with the (boxed) MST intake, which suffers a bit on the low end/off-the-line. The fact this setup is deshrouded (without a box) and involves longer piping which, as some believe, may help increase responsiveness too.
