Very nice! I'm looking for a hold over as well. Have the S4 leases become more attractive?

My traded my 2015 F82 for 2018 C63SCoupe. That should keep me engaged until the G80/82 arrives.

Looks like I'm going to be in the same boat as everyone here.
My F80 lease ends November 2019. I was thinking I'd do EU delivery of an F82, but they end production in February. I might just try to extend my lease until we know when the G80 will be available, but even then I'd prefer to wait for a Comp Spec version. |

No dual clutch would be a total downer on my end. Feel of the Zfat was lame even in F90 I test drove recently.

Ahhhh good to know. I thought that would be it for the F8X. My lease ends in April.

Residual and MF are stupid. My S5 residual last December was 61% with a .00137 money factor. Audi's have started to lease very well! My cousins S4 residual was 60%!

My M3 warranty is over September 2019, lots of awesome options will be out at that time, unfortunately the G80 will be 1-1.5 years away still.
I am debating if I am going to buy an extended warranty and maintenance plan until it comes out (I only have 18,000 miles on my M3, will have around 25,000 when warranty ends). Or I might just trade it in next summer for a X3M, Audi RS5 sportback, X4M, Alfa Stelvio Quad, Jaguar F Pace SVR, notice a trend of AWD vehicles... If the M440i Gran Coupe was out I would also consider that, as it would be something different, just can't see getting into a M340i for only 2 years, might as well just keep the M3 I have. |

When will the G82 be out? I am predicting MY2022 to be the first year. And if you want to buy used, you will have to wait until 2024 for leases to start ending in order to get a bunch of used market choices. I refused to buy these car new because of the depreciation hit you take (assuming you don't keep the car for a long time). I am not sure that I can wait this long...
I know that I want a coupe, so the g80 is out for me. I may need to switch brands for a bit in order to tide myself over until 2024 or so. Even if i went with a M440, that is still going to be 2023.

In case someone from BMW is listening - I buy sport sedans because I'm a "car guy" who likes his cars to serve multiple purposes. The M3 is perfect in this context - as long as it has a manual transmission. I can use it for full involvement weekend fun or taking clients to lunch. For me, a manual transmission is still a fundamental requirement for my sports cars. I want them to require a level of skill and driver involvement to work properly. I drove an E90 M3 for seven years and sold it for a M235i cabrio, which in the final analysis wasn't as versatile (or sporty) as the M3. To me there's something special about a manual transmission in a sedan, especially one that has a raw edge like the M3.

RS5 residuals suck. RS cars don't lease very well.

I went retro. Bought this in April and I may never let it go. I don't miss my E90 M3 so much anymore.

I really need to try and drive an e46 or e90 m3. I am not in the know. I wonder if it would be enough for me to sell my FBO 435.

both will feel small and slightly more nimble than your 435. You would definitely miss the torque but the overall driving experience would be more enjoyable I think. 435 also has benefit of newer tech and such tho which may be important to you. everyone values things differently so it's hard to say what you'd prefer, but definitely worth a drive.
