iDrive 8 question.

My car is in at the dealership whilst they try to cure a very intermitent slight knock from the nearside rear, and they have given me an i4 as a loan car.

I've been playing around with iDrive 8 (mine's iDrive 7) and can't find any way of doing one particular thing. The display is split into a number of panes which can display various information. Is there any way to set the display such that it only displays whole panes? Whatever I try by shuffling the panes around, I always end up with an odd half size pane at one end which looks a bit naff.

I don't believe so. Which app are you looking at as some you can view separately such as the Nav / Map.

They binned this with iDrive 8.5 / 9 and now you have a full screen map or car info with the tiles down the side.
