Steering wheel lock

Does the G20/21 have a steering wheel lock? The internal sort that you engage after turning the engine off by moving the wheel slightly? I'm sure it did but mines not working. Not sure if I'm going mad.

Is anyone able to check and confirm please? I'm pretty sure that, on turning the ignition off, a slight turn of the steering wheel would engage the internal lock. Mines not doing it anymore. I'm not sure if it's broken or I'm having a senior moment and the new car never did it.

My G22 doesn't have and I'm sure that will be no different to the G20/21.

Just been out to try it on my G21 LCI (June 2023) and it is as you describe - there is no "click" and the wheel does not lock with a clunk. Having said that, have you tried moving it? Nearly impossible.

I'm now worried I'm losing my marbles but that's a different problem.

I thought the same thing when I first got my M340i. I can also confirm no steering wheel lock on my car.
