I know you are quite proud of that deal, but let's be sure to set realistic expectations. As you noted previously you have a long-standing relationship with the dealer and regularly bring them other business. Just pointing this out for the OP's sake.

So much for "Mexican Delivery".
Ridiculous....

Is 7% off MRSP a fair deal for a new BMW customer?
I asked for the money factor and residual value on 36month 10k/yr and was given this depressing quote instead:

That's a complete joke. They have a 9% tax on the entire value of the car they roll into the lease numbers? That's completely fraudulent. You should only pay taxes on your lease payments themselves at whatever the state tax rate is. Completely disassociate yourself from whoever gave you that quote.

based on this sheet... it doesn't look like they discounted the vehicle at all. Also when you ask for residual and money factor and they dont give you them you should full stop your negotiation until they are provided. Transparency in numbers will set you free.

Not every state taxes on the lease payment. MD is one of those as well that taxes on the full sales price.

I figured that was a possibility but 9% on the entire value of the car seems a bit high.

Also shouldn't you only be paying taxes on the cumulative lease payments? e.g. if he leased at a 59% residual he should only be paying taxes on 41% of the value of the car. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding laws from different states.

Trust me, I wish it was only taxed on the 41% and not the entire sale price.

Every state has different tax rates and taxes leases differently. Since he is in CA, it very well may be 9%.

TX is sales tax on the sale price. Makes it fun

Virginia also taxes the full price of the car on leases, 4.15%. If you choose to buy the car at the end of your lease you don't have to pay any additional taxes.

It's hard to tell if they applied that tax on the lease value since they didn't give me the MF / RV I explicitly asked for. I'm definitely not considering this deal, it's a dumpster fire.

Agreed. I am going to ask them again for the numbers I already asked for.

9% is the tax rate in Santa Clara county, but yes those taxes should only be applied to the lease payments.

Does anyone have referral for a dealer that gives great deals?

Yes. Contact my man Daniel Yu over at BMW of Gwinnett Place. Great deals and super super easy to work with. His number is 404-988-4111. He'll beat the quote you got by a very healthy margin.

I spec'd my M340 with the 18"s because I haven't had great luck with BMW rims in the Boston area and I wanted to stick with run-flats. I'll probably swap over to winter tires this fall and buy a new set of wheels before next summer.

19 inch wheels with run-flats and potholes are really tough in the Northeast, my dad has ruined 2 rims and had two bubbles in the run-flats on his 540 m-sport.
