Beginning the blackout on Purple Nurple

Picked up a Purple Silk Metallic M340 last week. Decided to go with a bit meaner look so I'm going to blackout the trim, wrap the roof Black and paint the wheels bronze. Step 1 paint the shark fin & mirror covers complete. Wish me luck on these wheels. [IMG][/IMG]

Did you have to use a special kind of primer to go over the cerium mirror caps?

Didn't prime them. I just sanded & painted them. Should last until the m3ish ones I bought on eBay get here from China. 🤷🏻*♂️

Thanks. I have gotten more comments in it that just about anything I've owned & I usually make my vehicles pretty unique.
