792m or 791m bicolor for 340i w/shadowline?

Hi, sorry if in the wrong forum. I've been browsing and doing tons of searches but still haven't really made up my mind in terms of rims to add onto the car. Currently on order is a m340i with tanzanite blue and shadowline with 791m bicolor but I can still make changes since it hasn't entered production yet. What do you all think is the better visual choice between the 2 rims? Don't want to get the full jet black rims, initially wanted them but the more I see them, the less I'm a fan.

792m looks quite nice designwise while the 791m matches the color scheme a bit with the black bicolor portions with shadowline. 792m has the benefit in that I can request it in go flats at the same price as other rims but have to get that space saver spare which eats up trunk real estate +$150. 791m can only get the summer performance rft in which I'd be replacing anyways for ps4s but benefit of no space saver spare.

Only found 2-3 pictures in the tanz color thread with 792m rims and shadowline but angles weren't great to judge the look with both together.

What do you all think is the better combo? please

I have the 791’s, and while they’re ok I really wanted the 792 style. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the wheel choices though, as they are all decent.

I would say 791 with shadowline, 792 with Cerium gray.

792M are the best-looking OEM rims you can order.

I personally like some contrast so i would get 792M. They match with cerium grill as is and if you get shadowline, they'll still stand out and pop.

Really appreciate all the replies. I might stop by the dealer to get one last look before making the decision. 791m might fit better with shadowline but 792m's just look so good.

792M cerium grey all day long.

Just purchased a M340i in dravit grey with shadowline pack etc and was gutted that the garage wouldn't do the car with the 792M cerium grey wheels as the black 791M's are part of the Shadowline pack.

Luckily I managed to get a new set of 792M's from a guy on eBay for a decent price who swapped to the 795M 20". Gonna put the black 791M's up for sale as soon as I get the car.

Perhaps things have changed but I ordered Davit Grey few months back with shadow line PKG and 792M wheels (with high performance non-run flat tires); otherwise I see no reason why you can't get this build.

That said, I'm not a fan of black wheels: bi-color or full black so my opinion here might be biased. 792M all the way — looks better on the car and by comparison the cerium grey color is classier IMO.

Lol. Who wants classy when you can go mean looking (black 791m).
In the end, we are all biased towards what we like as individuals. Just like an exterior and interior color of a car. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on what looks the best.

My suggestion to the OP is to simply go with what YOU like, not everyone else. You are the one that will be living with this car and driving it daily.

Yes couldn't agree more with what you said hence my "bias" disclaimer. In the end OP gets to decide their preference.

I know this isn't tanzanite, but this was my 792M wheels with the shadowline package...I think they still compliment it very well.

Hey man, that was an awfully dark tint you had there!
Looked nice. I still "personally" prefer my black 791m wheels, lol.

I had a much lighter ceramic tint when I was having the most issues I had the black 791m wheels as my winter set (so I obviously like them too, but the 792's a little bit better).

792M seem much more exclusive, can you even order these on a 330i?

So 792M for sure, irrespective of shadow-line etc.

I have a touring (G21) with exactly the same colour specifications (Tanzanite Blue, Shadow line, 791M wheels - and cognac interior for completeness sake).

I had to be talked into this combo but after one year and half I still think it is brilliant and classy as hell. So each to their own, but I don't think you will regret it.

That is exactly what I wanted. Shadowline Pack, 792M and non run flat tyres. Maybe it's my local BMW garage I purchased it from being awkward but they was adamant that they couldn't build the car with 792M's.

I was under the illusion when you spend 60k on a brand new car you can get exactly what you want.
