I have to admit I'm still a skeptic. I've seen a lot of BMW concepts over the years and I've been disappointed by the real results in the past ending up looking far more pedestrian.
The camo version clearly has a solid bar across the license plate area in my interpretation, and nearly all current BMWs have a big open space below the plate as well, so it's hard to tell if this is just cover up or what. So that leaves it kind of up in the air, can't trust either one, and I guess people are tipping the scales with accounts from "people in the know ". Certainly has me guessing, can't wait to see it. |

I test driven i8, my 1st ever electric car experience, and loved electric power. Considering more powerful turbo engines pretty much reach electric car power and provide unreal driving experience, I would say at this point I welcome electric cars if they cannot be NA.

It's not terrible. But it does not look sporty to me. It looks more luxury like a Jag, Bentley, or Rolls. If that was a 7-series I'd be okay with it. But the 4 series (especially the M4) should be more streamlined and slick looking. That is too boxy IMO.

I wonder if there is any way that they could make the grill even bigger. There must have been some sort of marketing study that clearly shows that drivers prefer giant, enormous grilles on their cars. Now BMW will totally own that demographic.

If it looked remotely more like their CSL Concept, I would be the first in line to buy. Wheel arches or not, they could replace the lower bumper part with an Alpina-type lower half to keep a semblance of the CSL. Also, the circles in the bumper are where the $$ comes from.... |

Is it even a real grill or just look like a stuck on piece like what you see on the i3 and G20?

I'm hoping that is exactly how the grill ends up.

Looks to be not quite as tall and not quite as narrow as the concept, which I think is an improvement.
I truly believe the new M4 is going to still be an attractive car. I can't recall the last time a "non-M" car looked decent without mods or m sport. However, what I will dislike more than the grille is the way the M3/M4 will still sound... |

Why not? Almost every manufacturer kinda does a little camo design in their little honeycomb. Bmw could sure and have pulled it off..
