Evolution Racewerks catted DP and CST intake. I enjoy what both add to my M440i. Turbo intake sounds great. DP provides increase sound and rumble without being obnoxious. However, note that the CEL will disable your remote start function. I got a JB4 and am able to clear the error code, but that is a little annoying even though it is easy to clear.

I am running a JB4 on my 2020 m340ixdrive, just on map 2 as I am limited to 91 octane, but I do often add a can of race gas every fill up. I don't put on as many miles as some folks might. I also installed a Injen CAI along with a 400 cell catted downpipe that I had made from one of the Chinese stores on AliExpress. I was a little leary, but I have had it for over a year now and overall I am satisfied considering it only cost me about $450 (cdn. ) . I did get a CEL twice in the year, but I cleared it and haven't seen it come back for months. Fitment was perfect and sound isn't vastly different, after the cold start which is considerly louder. I would say this setup gives the car some extra jump, but hasn't transformed it into a road rocket, but it is reliable and a blast to drive.

2021 M440i Xdrive…AA catted downpipe. ZERO regrets and no CEL. Important to follow break in sheet that comes with AA downpipe to avoid CEL. Also, you won’t notice much in sound for the 1st 1000 miles or so, but the tone gets deeper with time.

anyone have a soundlip of m340 with MPE + catted AA downpipe? reluctsnt to pull trigger dont want it sounding "american made". i rather throaty burbles not so much pops..

I don't understand what you mean by American-made, but the American V8 is one of the best-sounding cars in my opinion, i wish we could get BMWs to sound like that but you don't have to worry about it, you can't get a BMW to sound like an American sports car
