little update: entered production on July 25th.

Did the F12 trick (not sure if this is still accurate) and had a production date of 8-17-2023.

Been refreshing the tracker all day lol- no movement yet.

Happy to see a few of y’all getting some movement lately.

MY24 m340i ordered 6/22. been in 'production begins' since 8/7. called the genius line & was told they expected production to conclude 8/27.

curious to track everyone else's statuses.

What are others hearing regarding estimated transport time to the dealer once the car is built? My CA has been reluctant to even hazard a guess.

Put a deposit down on a 2024 M340i they had ordered already and is currently in “production begins”. They told me 4-6 weeks for it to arrive at the dealer. Not sure I believe that timeline but we’ll see. I’m in AZ so I assume I’m on the west coast side of delivery in the US.

Yes, sat with him while we ordered it. See attached from my build sheet. However, I just checked the accessories website and you are correct, it doesn't show up. Only the knee pads do which is very strange since it was there a few weeks ago. Also checked MY23 and same result. Not sure what to make of this, may have to call CA.

based on some of the orders above, it looks like there is an M sport pro package. i’m not seeing this in the configurator / build screen on bmw’s (USA) website. any reason that be missing from my build options?

also i’d like to add the m performance exhaust. is that something i can do at the dealer when the car comes in, or what is the best way to get that added?

The M Sport package pro is just the extended shadowline package i am pretty sure. it includes the M sport brakes with red or blue calipers, m shadowline lights, and extended shadowline trim.

the MPE can either get added at the port (where it will follow your car warranty as well if 4 years) or you can always add it after the fact by purchasing the MPE from bmw or elsewhere. The negative here is you get a 2 year warranty on the item itself, but the pro is you get to keep your stock exhaust and sell it or hold on to it if you want.

super helpful thanks. yes the extended shadow line package includes all of those add ons (red brake calipers, shadow line lights, full led’s) so seems to match up.

So I called Genius today for the first time...was curious. I was advised that my car is awaiting carrier assignment. My Garage shows in Final Assembly. I'm assuming not a huge difference between FA and awaiting carrier assignment though.

This might be a dumb question, but I realized I spec'd 792M wheels. Just to confirm, does this mean they'll be staggered summer tires?
I'm in the Northeast, any recommendations for what I should switch to for the winter? Thanks!

The 792M wheels come in mixed tire run flats as well as all season run flats. I believe all the 19” tires are staggered?

I would imagine option 1G1 would be the ones you’d want as that is the one that has the all season.
