P0141 Code After Active Autowerke Downpipe Install

Hi everyone, about a week ago I installed an Active Autowerke catted downpipe on my 2020 M340i. Everything went smoothly and I was able to follow the break in procedure with no issues. This morning, my CEL came on so I scanned it to see exactly what the issue is. It is showing "P0141: O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2". I'm assuming this means I damaged the sensor when moving it from the stock downpipe to the new one. Does anyone know the best way to go about fixing this error and if it is still safe to drive my car? Thanks!

Contact AA first so they can advise on the best next steps.

hey man installed my catless this past weekend and got the same code, i didn't remove the o2 sensors before i took the cat out and it must of gotten banged around and damaged the sensor. you can drive the car without an issue its just not reading emissions but eventually you will need to change the sensor. mine is coming today i ordered this one.

dropped it on today and confirmed it works and code went away. only thing is you will need to swap the sensor connector from the stock one to the new one. you can pull the clip up and slide out and you are good to go.

Getting a code in the first couple of weeks is normal. It is a part of the break-in period.

If you are still getting the code, after 100 miles, contact active autowerke.

Thanks for the reply, I've got an OEM replacement sensor on the way. Have you had any issues at all since replacing the sensor?
