JB+ 2'o clock setting review
Hello everyone, another drab day of so cal going to near lockdown state. stay safe everyone.
Disclaimer: No dyno, no draggy, just a physical "feel" Real simple here, 2'o clock proved to be the smoothest... Perhaps the best setting. I was afraid that it wouldn't do anything because the PSI is probably lower but for some reason the boost feels as good or if not better. With the 4 - 4.7 setting, there was a 'weird' point on a 2k RPM, 6th gear, sport+, right around 50 mph. When I got on it a bit (50% throttle) on this point, it seemed like a limiter of a sorts were kicking in and didn't let more power come on. Kind of a dead point. Not a reduction of a power or anything, but the added power kind of dies down if you get the meaning. The duration of this dead point wasn't too long but was there. Getting on a 4th gear got rid of this problem because then I'll be 3K+ RPM. On the 2'o clock, there was no more of this weird point. Since this happens in my daily commute, I got on again at the same point, just about same speed and gear, I accelerated more powerfully out of that same point and just kept going with that nice boost of power. Now its been about 4 days since and I've been really enjoying this setting. Less is more on JB+ at this point. Feels more linear and boost is not less than higher levels for some reason. Once again, real dyno might tell a different story but 2'o clock setting is plenty useful. Hope this helped for some. |
