Bimmercode won't connect on LCI G20
Hello, when trying to use bimmercode whether it be through MHD or Enet cable it connects successfully, but when I go to choose a car I get the following error message. I have tried to reinstall the app three times, I’ve updated the app, I’ve tried my phone, my iPad, my MacBook, I’ve tried both MHD and Enet cable. I’ve tried clicking different cars, I’ve made sure my car is in diagnostic mode, and I tried changing the IP address of the Enet cable manually. Ive tried every possible thing I’ve come across on forums and the internet, but it just won’t work.
Any help would be appreciated. |

There are lots of factors to consider, you gotta have correct adapter setting too. Try setting the car into diagnostic mode first by hitting start engine button three times. And then try the video as well.

As in tried different connections? If so, yes I’ve tried using the MHD wireless wifi connector, and using an Enet cable. I’ve also tried putting the car under all the different 3 series options, and still did not work.

Thank you, I’ve tried to put the car into diagnostic mode and trying the video, and double checked my adapter settings with my buddies with a G20, and still did not work unfortunately.

How about deleting the app and redownloading it. The same thing happened to me and that's what got it working. Maybe to re-allow permissions even though they were setup previously. A refresh of everything might do the trick.

I had some difficulties some years ago to connect BimmerCode. I had to do the sequence in the below order to get it to work. See if it helps:
(I use Android and a WiFi interface and selects MHD Black in the list.) Turn off cellular connection (Airplane mode, LTE should not be visible). Put car in Diagnostic mode before you connect the OBD I/F. (Car should show a short message about Diagnostic mode in the instrument cluster.) Connect OBD adapter to the car. Connect your device WiFi to adapter. Start BimmerCode and choose the correct WiFi adapter. |

I recently picked up a MY 2024 m340i LCI in India . I have BimmerCode with v linker bm+ adapter . Will this setup work to connect to and remove the India specific 80/120 speed alarms ? Will the expert mode n DKOMBI be accessible ?
