M-Performance side skirt fitment?

Hi all - I just got the M-Performance side skirt extensions and installed them this weekend; they look awesome! My question is the fitment. I used the double sided tape on the bottom and then screwed in all 14 screws per side underneath so it's nice and secure. The minor issue I'm having is on the sides toward the back of the sideskirt extension. It's not sitting tightly against the sideskirt. The gap is small (about big enough to stick a q-tip down in). I tried double-sided tape on the side, but it won't hold tight due to the weird angle they attach. Anyone else have any tips, or should I just leave the gap as is? It's not really noticeable unless you look at it up close.

BMW recommends the use of Betalink and VHB double sided tape when installing the side skirts.

I added more double sided tape so that it covered all edges. No gaps on mine.

Thanks for the tips! I'll see how this holds up a few weeks and if the gap gets any larger I'll try out the double-sided tape on the side or the betalink.
