M Track module install + coding

I installed the M Track module and had it coded this weekend. Love the additional Sport display and option to customize the left and right side of the display. Install was easy. Only 4 wires to hook up. Directions were easy and clear. Also there's a video on YouTube if you search M Track display on G20. The remote coding only took them about 30 min.

I'll post some pics of my G20 Instrument cluster as well. Looks awesome !!!!
Cluster changes to M Track display when car is put into Sport Mode. You can also turn it off if you want in settings.

No problem. Install was easy. Remote Coding was a breeze. Do it !!! Their support is also great. I love the new display !!!

Does the shift light appear at the proper redline/RPM? I see that the HP/TQ numbers are higher.

My car is flash tuned with Bootmod3 therefore the torque and hp numbers are higher than a stock M340i.
M track display oes not effect anything and everything in cluster and head up display works just as it did before without issue.

Ordered mine last night. I was able to get it a little cheaper since I already have an E-SYS OBD cable.

Can't wait to install it!

Hi,
the Msetup (M1&M2) is also enable with Mtrack modul or do you have activated yourself?

No you cannot modify to RWD….
M1 and M2 do not do anything.
I wish it was that easy !!!

I see that from the pictures that the RPM goes to 8K. Is that able to change to the correct RPM for ours which is 7K I believe. But great work!!

What the M module does is basically add the M cluster view on the live cockpit and enable TPMS values in the cluster (including a pic of the car). It also makes the HUD work properly. It doesn't add any other functionality because those require extra hardware (probably) like M1/M2, drift analyser etc.

Just installed mine last night and had it coded. Definitely worth the money, I love this mod.

In the website where they sell the module it says:

> It fits all of the BMW 3/4/5/6/7 series, and X3/4/5/6/7 with G chassis (ID7). It doesn't fit the steering wheel buttons in the image section above, and also doesn't fit on BDC2 or hybrid cars.

Sorry to ask but what is BDC2 cars?

I believe this is Adaptive Cruise control/ Driver Assist Pro.

If those with ACC are out of this mod, then lot's of cars won't be able to get it...

What BDC2 stands for? this was the first time i hear about it.

Majority of people do not have ACC
