Be careful with this one. Once its coded instrumental cluster reduced mode along with the valet parking option disappear from idrive menu. Seems like some configuration conflict with latest firmware

Any one figured out the expert mode / long coding way to turn off ASD I'm using protool not bimmercode and there isn't a standard toggle yet

And hitting the BC button momentarily gives you full cockpit display. I like this feature.

For G20, can we code the BHP/NM displayed on the BC to higher numbers?
example if it showing 160BHP 320nm, can we change to lets say 400/400 etc or something?
via bimmercode.

Imposible the calibrations are inside engine software , they can be changed only if you tune it

I see, so you mean lets say with a Bootmod3 tune or something, it will auto changed value?

Cluster speed limit

Hey guys,

a friend of mine has a tuned 650i. Now we are struggeling with the instrument cluster. Car has no speed limit anymore but the Cluster only counts up to 263 kmh and stops. Car is still speeding up.

Anyone know a solution for that??

yes a good tuner map sport gauges are adjusted to new values

Here's another coding option for those with Drive Assist (not pro). I added the ability to give myself some extra room before the speed limit warning activates. For now it seems you can only do up to +-5mph but it helps

You need to change 2 parameters in BOTH of these ECU: BDC and HU. So go into BDC and change both below. Then go into HU and change both below again. You need expert mode for all these 4 total changes.
The changes are:
VOFFSET set to gen_2
VOFFSET_LANGSAM set to gen_2

You will get the new options on the iDrive. I will see if there is a way to get more than 5mph grace.

Try setting both parameters to gen_1.... should allow you to adjust up to 15kph (9mph) and 10kph (6mph), respectively.

I recall reading somewhere gen_2 is for ID8.

I tried gen_1 first and it gave +-10 on the iDrive. However it wasn't properly obeying the rule when set to 8,9,10 etc. It was internally obeying a 5mph offset regardless. When I switched to gen_2 it all worked correctly, albeit with the 5mph offset limitation.

E70 (2013 X5 50i) - Coding for the M Break Retro Fit

Good afternoon,
I apologize if there is already a thread posted... After a bit of searching, I could not find a discussion regarding the E70 and if coding is required once the M break upgrade / retro fit is completed. It looks like the F15 does require coding to allow the bigger breaks to function properly. Any info or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

PostScript- Since this is a coding request, I am looking for any coding guidance regarding the TPMS system for this vehicle (2013 X5 50i / E70). As this is a direct TPMS system, it would be great if I could code the TPMS interface to display the temp and pressure information that is coming from the transmitters in the wheels / RDC module.

I got the same car and did sport+ first, and i like it.
Then changed it by selecting the xtraboost option instead, and now I have plus and xtra in the sports menu. But in neigther one the electric motor seems to be used/activated. My battery level stays at 100% after a 10 min drive. So I suppose something is missing

I finally got around to checking how my vehicle behaves.... my vehicle adjusts the speed to whatever value I set in the iDrive.

In the interest of time, I only tested a few values for each of <= and > 60kph (40mph). I assumed that if it worked for these values, it would work for all values. Specific values tested include:

<= 60kph: tested values +1, +3, +5, +8 and +10(max)
>60kph; tested values +1, +2, +7, +10 and +15 (max)

So I assume your vehicle has drive assist pro?
I never coded aSLA specific portions because I don't have drive assist pro anyway. I wonder why my gen_1 setting doesn't work as expected. It could be because I don't have drive assist pro, or because I didn't code aSLA… or something else. I assure you though it didn't work properly with gen_1 setting. Unfortunately.

My M340iX does have DAP so that is likely why gen_1 works in my vehicle.... I do believe you that gen_1 does not work in your vehicle. Glad to learn that gen_2 works in vehicles without DAP.

You won’t see a huge drain on the battery. Xtraboost only uses max power for 10 second bursts.

The segment on your dash should light up blue when Xtraboost is active like in my photos below.
