NEW RELEASE: Dinan BMW G20 M340i Axle Back Exhaust Systems

I'm still waiting for my Dinan with the polished tips (ordered end of November), I think the tone is way better than awe and I have a catless downpipe so having the valves is a must.

Long time lurker and 1st time poster here. Ordered w/ black tips from Extreme Power House on 11/20/2021 with an ETA of mid-January. Received a follow-up that the new ETA is March 18.

Also curious - I looked through most of the thread, but couldn't tell if anyone has fitted smaller tips on the Dinan. Honestly, I want the sound, but am not wild about the 4" quad cannons coming out the back.

Anyone have the ID / OD measurements of the exhaust exit pipes so I can have a look at fitting some smaller tips?

I fully expect to be flamed for this post…or at least some variation of "that's what she said".

I do agree with you. I would prefer a 3.5'' look than the 4''.

us that ordered in sept/oct are just now getting shipping notifications so March sounds right for you

I'm with you and have spent hours searching online. If anyone knows a good shop that isn't super expensive who makes good tips, let me know and I'll give them a shot. Being able to put my larger sized fist inside these tips feels wrong.

Ugh, unpacked the exhaust for this measurement and discovered I'm missing the exhaust valve kit :-(. Looks like it won't be installed this weekend as I hoped

See attachment. OD of the exhaust pipes is roughly 76-77mm. Nothing is perfectly round, so I got readings from 74-77mm on the pipes and 75-77 on the inside of the tips.

So for those of you who just installed the Dinan, how does it sound? If any of you are in the Chicago area lets meet up and compare. I've got AWE Touring. I'm curious how the sound and volume differ

Wondering if these eBay Akrapovic tips would do the trick. 76mm inlet is an option with outlet options of 76/89/101/114mm. Looks like they are available as matte or glossy carbon.

Verify the total length. Dinan tips are 4.5" with a ~6" total length. If they made these in polished black I'd be all over them, I have 0 CF on my car so they wouldn't match

wow, kinda glad I canceled the order on Dinan exhaust...I would be postal after waiting months and not getting a complete order...

I called and emailed them, still awaiting a response. And yeah, not too happy after waiting since mid October, but I will give them a chance to fix it

keep us updated i think i am next in line for shipping based on the wait list and yeah agreed, not sending a complete order after all that time would be unacceptable
