Here are my results from the weekend, for anyone wondering about JB+ on a 330i.
Things I noticed after I got home: I left it in Comfort mode and my tires were over-inflated by 3 PSI... Didn't feel like traction was an issue, though.

Got a new dragy. And also new tyres installed yesterday (tyres are brand new and have less than 10 miles on them and are EXTREMELY slippery because they're new). I wanted to see if the dragy works since it's a gift from my wife and I was hoping third time lucky. And yes. I was lucky.
Car was in comfort mode. Shifter in S. Absolutely no brake boosting or LC. WOT from a standstill. 3/4th tank fuel, baby seat, two tyres (old RFTs) in the trunk. TC was on. Custom map 6 with EWG. ~E25 fuel. Result below. Only did one run just for fun since I want to break in the tyres for 500 miles. My stock car with LC is slower! PS: Time could have been very slightly better and trap speed slightly higher had I not backed off because I saw a car approaching from a distance.

Yup. If I did get a DP and stuff, I'm sure I'll be in the 12s range. Waiting for the tyres to be broken in before doing a LC run. Nothing great though. Just Michelin PS3+s.

Do you have a dragy? If not, nplease do consider getting one and posting results here!!! I'd love to see what numbers a stage 1/2 BM3 car does.

By the way, you might want to keep in mind the 1,200 mile break-in period.

Mods -
1. JB4 with EWG connector; Map 6 2. Drop-in K&N filter 4. Michelin PS3+ tyres Fuel - E25 blend Launch control runs twice, back to back with no cool off period. Only did it those two times. Results in the pic below. Trap speeds - 105.06mph for the 13.12s run and 106.37mph for the 13.14s run. Video of the second run below as I didn't know you had to actually press the record button (I assumed it would start recording automatically when you move, which was why I couldn't get the 13.12s run on video).

Same mods as before. This time, runs were done WITHOUT LC.
Run 1 - WOT with optimized DSC (Single press of the DSC button) Run 2 - WOT with all electrical nannies on Runs were done on the same road in Mexico

LC really does it's thing if we are looking at nearly 0.5 a sec slower without it.

It absolutely does. I saw videos where the M340i does 0-60 in like 4-4.2s with LC and 4.7-4.9 without it. Same for all cars basically.

I was actually expecting a bigger gap. The turbo is asleep for a few thousand RPMs before waking up, when you go WOT. With LC, the turbo is spooled up and ready to go

Going to start making a few comparison tests for myself.
First probably doing a comparison from stock with runflats to stock with PS4S. Then I'll add JB+ and possibly some other piggy back or tunes into the runs from 0-60 and 1/4 Mile. Whats a decently reliable product to time these runs in the US? |

For proper performance figures, get a dragy. They're as good as getting time slips from a drag strip. I use them (I've posted my results above) and I love it. PS - I just realised I uploaded the wrong video of my WOT runs without LC. I've uploaded the correct one now. The dragy video overlay doesn't work perfectly for me (there's a weird delay between the Christmas tree lights & audio compared to the video which starts to play earlier). Seems like it's an issue with my phone and not the app but I'm not 100% sure. The times are spot on though.

The stock turbos are pretty small, spool up is not negligible but its not super significant either. Its more about getting into the rev range where it is safe to make boost/torque (as opposed to eliminating spoolup time).
