Where to order black emblem for M340i X drive

I’ve decided to get a high gloss black emblem to replace the OEM emblem and the “x drive”

I see a lot of people online sell these. Etsy is one site.

Anybody know whom to trust and who not to? I want something that would fit the stock parameters.

OEM is always the most reliable: 51-14-2-472-849
Couldn't find the black badge option for XDrive but I think the 25.99 one on Amazon looks promising. Honestly I think most cheap products will be good enough even if not OEM.

Another option you can explore is wrapping/coating the badges. I just hyperdipped my badges yesterday. It's a little more complicated than I thought but it's cheaper ($10 a can for plastic dip, can probably be used on 10 badges) and you don't have to worry about positioning the new badges perfectly

My go-to is iND. https://ind-distribution.com
They had to do a custom xDrive badge for me when I ordered mine, which took additional time. I wasn't in a rush so it was okay for me.

Good suggestion. They are kind of pricey, do you happen to know why?

Here’s my car. My brother says I should black the emblem.

Anybody want to share their opinion? Do I also have to black out the “x drive” if I do that?

I just replaced the M340i (from IND) and removed the xDrive. I would say do both if you keep the xDrive one.

^ I’ve never removed an emblem before. Does it leave a mark on the paint underneath when you do that?

Quality products - I never had any issues with their products.
Both my badges are gloss black (xDrive looks like matte black because of lighting/angle I took the pic).

^ Wow, I looked up that company and I just realized that I am 5 minutes away from them as I type this! I just spoke to them and am going to pick up the badge in person.

So you had to contact them to get it made?

Or was this the one? https://ind-distribution.com/product...db2651b4&_ss=r

xDrive badge for G30 and G20 are different - Badge for G30 has a bit bigger "X".
I was told they have to get one gloss painted for me.

^ What do you guys think about getting the M340i badge switched to black, and just removing the Xdrive badge altogether?

After all, all of the "real" M cars, even if X drive, don't have the X drive badge on them.

^ Yeah, I'm thinking the same. Blacking out the xdrive logo almost seems like trying too hard. Leave it alone or remove it, maybe
