Great write up where do you get your circuit diagrams from? I am trying to retrofit Harman Kardon Surround speakers located in the D pillar of my 2019 Australian spec G05 X5 The cables for the speakers go into the RAM ECU and would like to know which are the correct pins to use.

Very nice write-up. I personally disabled this feature shortly after buying my car, and I don't miss it.

Did the retrofit on my g31 add cafd, vo coded fzd and hu, reinitialized the pano roof. Everything works roof lights, pano except the gesture controle that doesnt work.

When i use insta to read the faults it says gesture camera not working. What can cause this cause it seems doubtfull that the camere is really broken.

Any ideas? I used an fzd with partnr 61319875363

I looked at this retrofit option in my X5 but in my case it is a lot more complicated in that you need to run 2 additional canbus wires to the main BCM module for the car to recognise the camera in addition to the coding. If you have already done this make sure the pins are connected in the correct position and not the wrong way around.

Same. Seemed like a solution in search of a problem. It's harder and more awkward to do things with gestures than hitting a button, and I would accidently activate its sometimes unintentionally.
