Same, it backtracks upon arrival at the port. Wondering how long it will take to get to the dealer - it arrived Sunday or Monday, so I'm thinking this weekend would be optimistic. Dealer is in Atlanta, port is Brunswick.

Yes, that means your car has reached its destination port. It will flip back to "In Transit" once it gets put on a truck/carrier.

So my status has been showing Final Assembly since 3/9 in the tracker, so I decided to call the Genius line today and they said that the car is in transit to the port which I guess should be dispatched from the factory in the tracker... The guys I talked to said it can take up to two weeks going from the factory in Mexico to the port... So, I wait some more. :/

Don't understand why it takes up to 2 weeks for a train to go from the plant to the port in Mexico

starts in that week, the actual build time is ~couple days

Just wait till it gets on the boat. Mine spent 3 weeks cruising the Caribbean and Atlantic coast before finally making it to Baltimore yesterday.

Veracruz - Altamira (was there for almost 5 days) - Puerto Rico (took two days to even get there) - Brunswick (at least we are in the States) - Jacksonville (why are you going South??!?) - Philadelphia (once again going out of directional order) - Baltimore

This boat (Glovis Crystal) must had at least 4500 cars on it. If you go to http://www.importinfo.com you can see the manifests of each port by searching the boat name. It only had 147 BMWs.

Now I’m just lurking on mybmw site and called genius today. They had nothing for me and no status change so far. Luckily still don’t have a stop sale recall showing up. Here’s to hoping smooth sailing from here!!

I'm on the same boat as you. My vehicle needs to make its way up to NJ VPC. I'm showing no stop sales or recalls as well as no other deletes besides the passenger seat lumbar n width adjustment. Hopefully couple more weeks which I don't mind. Let the shitty weather stop lol

Well the Glovis Crystal is off to NYC after it spent 5 days in Baltimore port jumping around from dock to dock (it had GM, MB, and BMW onboard based upon the manifests, so it may have been dropping cars off at different locations). What sucks is it's been 5 days since boat arrived, and I got nothing as far as status change. I plan on calling Genius this morning to see if they have anything for me. They didn't last time I talked to them.

UPDATE: Status clicked over to "at the port" prior to me calling Genius. I did give them a call and they stated no details yet on timing. Said to call back tomorrow or next day and hopefully they will know when it will arrive at dealership.

For west coast orders, the vessel Lake Taupo is arriving at the Mexico port of Lázaro Cárdenas today for vehicle pick up. It's due to arrive at Port Hueneme on 3/28. My M340ix is supposed to be on this ship. Keeping my fingers crossed. Not sure if there's a website to check the ships manifest when it departs to verify you car is on there.

If everything goes well it should be delivered at the dealer in about 5-6 weeks from now.

Fingers crossed!

My source is a family relative that works in the dealer where I bought the car (the relative is part of the fleet department but has the same access as any sales rep)
