Are we sure this isn't the m-sport? I would say the front bumper looks pretty similar to the X3 m-sport... so a little continuity there.
I don't know if it's the angles of some of these shots, but as others say the adjustments are really screwing with the visual proportions and making the car look taller... a similar look to the 2 series GC...

"I have an idea! Let's take the grill opening & just turn it upside down! Amazing!" But notice how the lines once that mouth is turned upside down just don't flow anymore. This is what BMW's current designers miss completely. I will say this isn't as offensive as some of the other designs we've seen lately. Exception for that rear diffuser... WTF.

^ I believe they all have the M on the side? Or something on the side. As far as the LCI, I actually like it. The headlights look better, the rear isn't bad. I never liked the G20 non-laser DRL's.

It looks like the M Sport front bumper is definitely the same design as the leaked pic from last year.I still don’t get what the hole is at the the top of the boomerang on both sides of the front bumper. It looks strange. The rear diffuser is also way to big.It practically takes up the whole rear bumper. At least the signature corona headlights are back on the standard LED’s but the design of the current LED Laser lights still look better.Overall the pre LCI is a better looking design IMO.

The only thing that bothers me is that bare black (or is it gloss?) plastic on the bumper beam. Maybe that's just on the lower trims. Hoping this can make the M's look better!

Where's the cover for the front Towing eye ???
I mean , its plain to see on the front bumper of i3, but none of these new "leaked" images shows it. There's a lot about these images that just doesn't add up for me. |

If this truly is the new updated 3 series the pre LCI owners must be so very happy they got a much better looking car.

I could probably live with the front end but wtf are they smoking over at BMW design to think this diffuser was a good idea coming off the pre-LCI... they dragged the black plastic up to the rear vent/new reflector area too, absolutely mangled the rear of the car with this change |
