"Crystal" elements

Hello everyone,

Small modification that I made on my G20, adding "crystal" elements.
Unfortunately not the gear lever because it is quite expensive.
Maybe in the future

How much was the cost to replace the 2 pieces?

Both look great and really help make the center area look more premium but I really like how the start/stop button looks especially when lite up.

Wait. Only €60? It definitely looks much more expensive. Atleast in photos. Looks real nice.

How's the fitment, does it look OEM? And how was the install?

Can you provide a link to yours? They look great!

That’s the link for the start button. They also sell the rotary controller knob for $56.

I’m curious on how the install process is. Looks like these are replacement parts and not stick ons.

Does the rotary knob still register your swipes for drawing letters etc?

Hello,

Yes the rendering is like oem, and the touch still works for letters etc ...

The link for the rotary button:

https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/40000...1-edc01aa8a6a9

The seller is very nice, I asked him for installation videos and he sent them to me

It looks really nice but I wonder if I can do it myself. I’m not too technically gifted unfortunately.

Practically pennies for those pieces, then it's $2k for the shifter?

I've had very bad lucky actually receiving items from that site and it takes weeks to months to get here when they do arrive. Just FYI

Did you have to remove the gearbox frame to install the crystal start stop button? Or were you able to snap it out directly?

The OP is missing and I’m sure all of us, me included, want to know how it was done. I searched online but couldn’t find any instructions or videos on how to do it. I’d take the plunge if I found instructions on how to do it, depending on if it was easy or not. If it involves removing panels, that’s it for me. Knowing my history with removing panels and breaking clips, I’d leave it as it is.
