Cheap wheel option to try drift?

I'm always right on the edge to go to a local (45min away) skid pad that hosts a drift night each week. One big concern holding me back is with dry weather, even a few runs of sliding around will crush the life out of my Michelin PS4s. So I'm debating whether it's an ok idea to buy 2 extra wheels (maybe for cheap?) to use only at this skid pad, to mount some low grip tires on. I guess then I'd drive these 2 wheels to the event, swap them there, do some donuts and swap back for the drive home.

As I'm thinking this through it sounds like a lot of work to be worthwhile :-( Does anyone have a better alternative? I don't have a lot of accessible open pavement near my home, lots of parking lots have street lamps or curbs - otherwise I'd go there on a rainy or snow day...
