Tanzanite vs Tanzanite II

I owned a Tanzanite Blue 2014 335i. Is Tanzanite Blue II lighter?

I haven't seen side by side but from what I can tell it is slightly more blue and a little less black. Very similar but not quite the same. Mine has a nice hint of royal blue metallic in direct sun but it is overall a dark color towards a highly metallic navy.

Same color just a different paint supplier that is why they add II to the color.

They look identical honestly. I parked my F80 next to a TB2 G20 and it was a wash.

Not sure, but when I looked at a tanzanite blue sedan back in April, it had a lot of orange peel. Was one of the few reasons to NOT go for that color.

When I looked at the tanzanite blue II touring just a week ago, it hadn't and was very nice. Thought about trading

This... same thing happened with sahkir orange midway through the F80\82 lifecycle
